Great Value for Home Workouts

This is my second time buying this set. My previous one lasted more than five years! It includes everything needed for a variety of home exercises, with multiple resistance levels, handles, and ankle straps. Great durability and value for the price!

Works for me

Well made product. I have bad knees and a back injury so I am limited in how I do resistance exercises. Can easily increase/decrease amount of resistance. Well made product.

I wanted to wait until I had some time to use these and now I can say that I am so happy I bought these back in March. If you're stuck at home and need to workout these are great. The bands are versatile that you can workout almost every major muscle group you'd hit at the gym. I was a little concerned that after 2-3 months of daily use the bands would snap or be stretched out too much but so far they're still working great. And really resistance wise you can combine bands to increase resistance enough that you can feel like you've gotten a good pump. It takes a bit getting used to if you miss your freeweights or machines but after months of home workouts I have to admit I've gotten great results maintaining my gains from the gym. From opening the box, you get a lot for your money; this is a great value and a godsend for those who are out of the gym and have to rely on homeworkouts. My only complaint is the door anchor can make certain workouts awkward, but that's really just down to whatever kind of doors you have in your home. Depending on our set up you may want to get 2 anchors or maybe one of those anchors that wrap around the whole door and have multiple loops and anchor points but that's really just up to you.Overall this a great product and I would recommend it as an investment for homeworkouts. I don't know how I would have survived quarantine this long without them.Update: I wanted to provide some more information. After 6 months of almost daily use, one the bands finally snapped. Obviously not a big deal; I certainly was happy and got my money's worth. The bands were certainly durable and allowed me to stay in shape. I was ready to buy a new replacement set but I asked Whatafit if by some chance there was some warranty on the band. They sent me a whole replacement set! No problem no fighting, just sent them a pic of the broken band and they were on it. I can't say enough how good this product and this company is. I have totally changed my opinion on the value of bands for working out and I would definitely buy from this company. 5 stars .

A lot of bang for your buck!

These complement any exercise regimen. I use free weights at home and still find these beneficial, in that I can do things that are hard to do without a machine. They take the place of a variety of gym-type machine at minimal cost and take up virtually no space. Resistance ranges are fine for any but the most extreme lifter, grips works well, portability means you can easily take them on the road and not miss a workout. You can vary resistance for each band by gripping in different locations. You are not limited by a handle.

Great way to work out at home, but know what you're getting

First, this is a great set for a home workout at a great price. I got these because I just didn't enjoy the experience at my gym and wanted to workout at home- but don't have a lot of space to dedicate to working out and didn't want to spend a ton of money. Is this as good as a free-weight workout? No. It's a very different experience. It's still productive but in a different way. Most of my exercises (especially "pull" exercises) are just fine, but I've not found a technique with these that give me the same result on things like bicep curls. If you're just toning, you'll probably be fine, but I lift to exhaustion. You can get there with these but it's a very different result and harder to get.The "weights" of the bands are directionally correct but not precise. If you use a 20lb dumbbell today and try the 20lb band, you'll probably find it too light. Also, stacking bands does give you more resistance but you'll get a somewhat different results based on how you couple them up. If I'm trying to get 70 lbs of resistance, I've found the 40+30 is better than the 50+20. I do augment with dumbbells for a couple of exercises. You'll have to experiment with the heights and configurations you find what works. One of the things I learned early on was to start with the bands already stretched somewhat since the resistance builds as they stretch, vs free weights that have a uniform resistance. One of the keys I've found is that it's important to center the bands in the door anchor and make sure you're square to it or you'll get a discrepancy in the resistance between hands.Overall, very happy with my purchase and use these almost every day. They are a great way to get a workout in at home in a very small space. What I like:- Easy to set up- Good "pull" exercises- Doesn't take up much space at all- Very affordableCritiques:- the "weights" are not very accurate- inconsistent resistance through extension (I think this is true of all bands, though).- The rubber bands are hard to center in the anchor, especially when there are multiple- Door damage. The metal clips are convenient, but even being extra careful, they leave marks on my door.

Well made, very useful

I use as a part of my exercise kit, along with dumbbells, machines, etc. Many good Tube videos on how to properly use. These are well made. Yes they can break or be torn, that's why the vids are great for learning proper use. Learn proper use and they will last a long time. Don't leave around young kids as these have a lot of powerful stretch depending on the tube. Easy to store, take along when travelling, etc. Wonderful stretch when watching TV, breaking from desk work, to open and close a weight session, etc. Yes, you can build muscle using these.
